  2. Bachelor Degree Courses [BSc. Marine Science (3 Years)]

    The eligibility criteria is a 10+2 examination or equivalent from a recognized Board with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, or Mathematics as subjects. The duration of the course is three years and its syllabus is divided into six semesters. During the course, the students generally study marine biology and interactions with the environment; they also study biological oceanography and related fields of chemical, physical, and geological oceanography.

    The eligibility criteria include a Bachelor's Degree in any of the following subjects: Chemistry, Zoology, Botany, Geology, Geography, Physiology, Bio-Chemistry, Microbiology with Chemistry as one of the General subjects. Students are taught to design and carry out an inquiry-based research or internship project, analyze primary scientific literature, write a scientific proposal, and write a research paper or compile a portfolio.
