Course for candidates who have passed Post Graduate Diploma course recognized by the Dental Council of India (D.C.I) of the duration of two years speciality. The selection of students to M.D.S. is merit-based. The student has to qualify the All India Common Entrance Test (AICET) conducted by various Dental Colleges or by the agency as specified by the University Grants Commission (UGC). They have specialisation in the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of periodontal disease, and in the placement of dental implants.
