    Bachelor Degree Course (3 years): B.Sc in Science~ Candidates have to appear in the written test, voice test and medical test. The age criteria for general category candidates is 27 years whereas for reserved category candidates it is 32 years and for OBC candidates it is 30 years to apply for the ATC. To secure admission in BSc course students must pass Class XII from a recognised board in the Science stream. Also, students must secure a minimum percentage according to the cut-off stipulated by the respective college/ university. Bachelor's Degree Course (4 years): B. Tech./B. E.~ At the UG level, candidates must have successfully passed their senior secondary examination or its equivalent with at least 60% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (PCM). They should also have secured a minimum of 50% marks in English either in Class X or Class XII.

    An air traffic controller is responsible for coordinating the movement of air traffic, guiding pilots during takeoff and landing and monitoring the planes as they travel through the skies. They manage communication by transferring control of departing flights to traffic control centers and they accept control of arriving flights. The air traffic controller is also responsible for controlling all ground traffic at airports, including baggage vehicles and maintenance employees. Other duties include Providing information to pilots, including runway closures, weather updates and other critical information; Alerting airport personnel when there is any kind of aircraft emergency; Using computers, radar or visual references to monitor and direct the flow of aircraft in the sky and ground traffic at the airport.
